LambEx 2018

Ejanding was part of the Win a Ewe competition at Lambex2018. Congratulations to Michael and Jordon Foote from Poowong in Victoria who won the 50 Merino ewes.

It was a great couple of days discussing the whole supply chain, especially the link between breeding/genetics to our end products wool and meat. More information on the  rams that were on display can be found in our 2018 semen catalogue.

Ejanding Commercial Information Day

Ejanding had the pleasure of hosting a commercial information day focusing on improving performance through genetics. A huge thank you to those attended as well as the guest speakers Peta Bradley (MLA – Sheep Genetics), Clara Bradford (MLA – Sheep Genetics), Georgia Reid (AgPro) and Michael O’Neil (Service provider and commercial grower).

Half of the equation

Although the sires used have the biggest impact on a flocks progress, it takes two to tango. it is important not to forget about the other half! Ejanding Stud has been working with researchers trialing ‘fitbit’ collars used to identify dam pedigree in the stud lambs.
